Campcraft Test progress SATURDAY. PROVE TO US!

Sec 1s,
Do note that this coming Saturday there will be Campcraft Test going on. This time, to make it efficient we need you guys to listen attentively on what to look out for during the period of test. Of course, 100% passes is my expectation and also your goal for the squad. DON'T DISAPPOINT ME!

Here is a list of things as TIPS:
- Make sure everyone read up your notes (A MUST)
- Remember to listen and take down notes during the Campcraft Revision before the test.
- Remember to practice at home with the knots and lashings to better prepare yourself.

Do look at your progresses in Campcraft, not well at all, encourage each other to come for this Saturday training! This is the only way to progress quickly for everything. Sec 1s, DO NOT HESITATE! Every CLs are confident that 100% passes for this squad, DON'T PROVE US WRONG!

OF COURSE, GOOD LUCK IS THE RESULT OF GOOD PLANNING!

Camp Craft Test and Drill Test progress, IMPROVEMENTS NEEDED!

Things to take note in the documents:
1. Green boxes denotes that cadets PASSED the particular drill / campcraft.
2. Red boxes denotes that cadets HAVE NOT PASSED the particular drill / campcraft.

As you all know, the number of trainings have been gradually shortened and the limitations of training are short, as you see the progress of our tests, do keep in mind that it is not going well. I DO NOT WISH to see these results as the strength of the squad have been weak and test are carried out not efficiently. Encourage all of your squadmates to attend every single training, both TUESDAY and SATURDAY training.

            Haze in Singapore, Keep Yourself Healthy!

            Known lately, the PSI in singapore is getting  higher and higher. Even though for today the PSI has decreased, please do look out for your own health and safety too! Here are some tips taken from websites on how to keep healthy in this period. :D Inform people around you, as well as your parents!
            Ways to protect yourself from the haze
            Take the following steps to protect yourself from the haze in Singapore:
            • Cover your nose and mouth with a mask when you go out – make sure you get a mask that can catch tiny particles below 0.3 microns.
            • Keep the doors and windows of your home closed.
            • Roll up the windows of your car if you are driving.
            • Use an air-conditioner in your home to help remove pollutants.
            • Use an air ionizer or air purifier to catch very small particles.
            • Drink more water than usual – this helps the kidneys flush out any toxins absorbed through the skin and lungs.
            • Cut down on coffee and alcohol – these promote fluid loss and leach nutrients from the body.
            • Build up your immunity with foods rich in vitamin C (oranges, guava, strawberries), vitamin E (nuts and seeds) and omega-3 fatty acids (oily fish).
